The MacBook Pro line was introduced in January 2006, and has been available in a variety of models since then. These are high-end laptops. There are three main developments; the aluminum MacBook Pro, from 2006 to 2008; the MacBoo Pro unibody, from 2009 to 2012; and the MacBook Pro Retina, since 2012.
